WAIKOLOA (HawaiiNewsNow) – One person is dead and three people are seriously injured following a crash on Hawaii Island, officials said.
The crash was reported just after 9 a.m. on Highway 190, also known as Kona Upper Road.
The Hawaii Police Department has shut down a portion of Highway 190 (Kona Upper Road) in both directions between the Daniel K. Inouye Highway and Waikoloa Road junctions.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area until the road is reopened.
